Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 4 ea Avocados Ripe
  • 1 ea Lime Juiced
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 2 lrg Garlic Cloves Finely Minced
  • 1/4 cp Cilantro Minced
  • 1/4 cp Red Onion Diced
  • 1 lrg Jalapeno Pepper Finely Diced
  • 1 ea Roma Tomato Diced

Instructions

  • Cut Avocados in half lengthwise, remove the pit carefully, and scoop out the flesh into a bowl. Mash with a fork until desired consistency. Keep in mind that each time you stir the flesh it will break down further and become more creamy.
  • Add the Lime Juice, Kosher Salt, Garlic, and Cilantro and stir until completely incorporated with the Avocado flesh.
  • Add the Roma Tomato, Jalapeno Pepper, and Red Onion. Stir in until well mixed.
  • Taste the Guacamole with a fork or spoon. You want to taste hints of Salt, Cilantro, and Garlic but not over powering. Don't use chips or other foods to taste as they have salt and other spices that could through off the taste of the Guacamole itself.
  • Best if rested for 24 in the refrigerator. Serve very cold with homemade chips. We've got a recipe for those too.
