Chili Relleno Sauce
Ingredients
- 1/3 cp Grape Seed Oil
- 1 med Yellow Onion Julienne
- 1 lrg Jalapeno Pepper Juliene
- 1/2 med Green Bell Pepper Julienne
- 1 lrg Bay Leaf
- 4 Garlic Cloves Fine Mince
- 6 med Roma Tomatoes Juliene
- 1 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/3 cp All Purpose Flour
- 4 cps Water
Instructions
- In a medium sauce pan, on medium heat, add Grape Seed Oil and sauté Onions until translucent.
- Add Jalapeno Peppers, Bell Peppers, Bay Leaf, and Garlic continuing to sauté for 2 minutes.
- Add Roma Tomatoes and continue sautéing for 1 minute.
- Add Salt, Black Pepper, and flour sautéing until flour has thicken the mixture.
- Slowly add the water until sauce is completely incorporated.
- Server over Chili Rellenos, Rice or as a dip for Chips.
