Chili Relleno Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cp Grape Seed Oil
  • 1 med Yellow Onion Julienne
  • 1 lrg Jalapeno Pepper Juliene
  • 1/2 med Green Bell Pepper Julienne
  • 1 lrg Bay Leaf
  • 4 Garlic Cloves Fine Mince
  • 6 med Roma Tomatoes Juliene
  • 1 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/3 cp All Purpose Flour
  • 4 cps Water

Instructions
 

  • In a medium sauce pan, on medium heat, add Grape Seed Oil and sauté Onions until translucent.
  • Add Jalapeno Peppers, Bell Peppers, Bay Leaf, and Garlic continuing to sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add Roma Tomatoes and continue sautéing for 1 minute.
  • Add Salt, Black Pepper, and flour sautéing until flour has thicken the mixture.
  • Slowly add the water until sauce is completely incorporated.
  • Server over Chili Rellenos, Rice or as a dip for Chips.
