Pasta con Vongole
Pasta con Vongole (Pasta with White Clam Sauce) is my all time favorite pasta recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cp Olive Oil
- 1/4 med White Onion Minced
- 4 Cans Minced Clams Drained and reserve liquid
- 1 Clam Juice
- 6 lrg Garlic Cloves Minced
- 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
- 1/2 cp Parsley Minced
Instructions
- Add Olive Oil to a large saucee pan on high heat. Add the Onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add the Clams, Clam Juice and Garlic and cook on medium to low heat for 15 minutes.
- Add Salt and Parsley and cook for an additional 10 minutes.
- Toss al dente Linguini into the hot saucee and stir with tongs until thoroughly combined. Serve immediately with crusty sour dough bread.
